Ugh, talk about a lazy day. Although my alarm was set to 9:45, I definitely did not get out of bed until…13:06. Sickness has finally descended upon me. I knew it was going to happen sometime; you can’t share a dorm like this or ride public transportation during the winter without eventually catching something. Thankfully it’s nothing serious, no fever or bad headaches or anything, just enough sniffles, sneezing, and coughing to make going out seem like a terrible idea. I slowly got ready and showered after finishing my PB+jam lunch at 15:00. I met Katie on her way out to the Strand, and she must have thought it odd to see my come out of the shower, still in my pajamas mind you, at twenty past three. I really needed the shower though, and it always feels good to freshen up like that when you’re sick. I took some allergy/cold medicine when I got back and within a couple of hours I was feeling too drowsy to continue reading. I stayed in a kind of daze through dinner and a little beyond. I read some more, then finally made it to bed around 1.
